Bears D shut out the highest scoring team from last season for a full half, allowed them only 14 points, the league MVP only 25 rushing yards, and the high powered Chargers offense only 202 total yards.

The defense did everything they needed for the Bears to be able to win that game, however our offense tanked, no suprise there.

To say the whole Bears team is garbage after week 1 is just being an asshole, to say they have problems makes sense.

Chargers D may not be the best D, but they are one of the highest, so don't act like the bears played a defensive slouch either.

I won't spin it, 3 points is unacceptable and embarrasing no doubt, especially since the Defense put them in good field position. The offense did horribly out there.

As for opening in the bottom of the division? well it's one game so you can only be up a game or down a game, the Bears were the only team that played someone of quality in that division, except for the packers, who did technically play a talented team in the Eagles.

So there you have it..

maybe I should call you a name at the end of this , like you did at the beginning of your post, that'll get the point across better..

Think about it. if the scores are 200 to 190 every week it's alot more entertaining then 90 to 80 every week which if it wasn't for the change would be happening.

Well Minnesota did reach 100 points last year, so they are definitely not a pushover, and they haven't lost yet this season, not to mention most of the other teams in the western conference haven't exactly rocketed off, as it stands Minnesota is number 2 overall in the western conference, granted it is way to early in the season to start sorting out the contenders from the pretenders in terms of playoff bound teams. Hockey season is 82 games long and we are only 4-5 games in, granted around game 20 we should start seeing what each team is made of.

granted this is the fantasy football thread so we don't need to get into a bunch of hockey talk here, but I'll probaly make a NHL thread once the season gets a bit more underway, so we can all get a bit of a feeling for our teams.. I know we got some hockey fans on this board so hopefully they'll chime in.
