There are so many screenwriter out there with great horror ideas, why do remakes and sequels and prequels when you can try something new?

i had the original movie on vhs. it mysteriously disappeared along with my john carpenter's version of "the fog".:oogle:

exactly. Why remake something that was all about the ending? It's not like it's going to have any effect now.

Apparently this isn't a remake anymore. It started out as one, but (much like Invasion) has turned into its own film.

Yeah, Invasion started off as an Invasion of the Body Snatchers remake, but after numerous script changes it ended up its own film. Despite that, the overall premise still remains the same, but the movie still considers itself apart from the original.

maybe she'll give away this ending too. you can really tell how upset Zombie was by how he tortured her in the theatrical ending.

Why remake a horror film if it's only going to go straight-to-DVD?!?!

heres the cover art. I agree with what they say about it. Although The Hamiltons wasn't to bad so if it gets decent reviews I might watch it. Can't be any worse than the original one.

Oh My F***ING God!! I watched this remake just to see how horrible it was. It was worse than horrible it was such a waste of film. I am getting so sick of these disgusting remakes. The original is so original and that's what's so amazing about it. They tried to twist it a bit and add some more current flare but it just sank deeper into shit! And now with Prom Night on it's way...I am moving closer to the toilet so I can PUKE!!
