Fucking fantastic...the way it should be. And I noticed some Predaliens....sweet.

There have been many reports that the plot will revolve around a rouge Predator that has unleashed a egg/facehugger(s) on a Predator ship which crash lands on Earth, now the surviving Predators must hunt Aliens and also a rouge Predator....sounds pretty cool to me.

For some reason I feel that the title change to being Requiem instead of just 2 had somethingto do with the studio wanting to further themselves a bit from the original. Not to mention the website is AVP-R.com, as if almost suggesting the R rating, maybe I'm thinking into it too much but the atmosphere around this film is a complete 180 from the original.

Needless to say I watched this trailer again and they have me there opening night, hell maybe even the midnight showing.

The one part I loved in the trailer when, Highlight below to read so I don't spoil it for anyone that hasn't watched it,

is when that chick is running in the hallway and all of a sudden gets impaled on the wall. I actually said "YEA!" when that happened.



Basically this film looks exactly like how I wanted the original to be. I doubt the story will win any oscars but it who cares, the real point is watching an all out battle, and that looks to be what we are getting.

There is actual Alien vs Predator action!
One Alien doesn't kill of the majority of Predators in this flick.

That was my fave part of the trailer as well. You can really tell that, unlike Paul Anderson, these people care about making a good movie. I guess he thought that since the franchise characters were already so established that he could make a subpar movie. It didn't cut it. This one looks like what AVP should have been.

This movie looks like it's going to be amazing but at the same time I remain weary of it. The first one looked amazing in the trailers but ended up suckin balls. But the only thing is at some point in the trailer you see a person firing a predator weapon and quite frankly that pisses me off heh.

Closest I can think of is a fish and game department female officer type role... though I cannot recall the titles. Or the Army doc in 28 weeks later. Cop cop roles... Robocop's partner? Can't think of much really, good ones at least. I can rattle off a list of decent to crap ones like Silent Hill though.

I'm gonna be honest, I am so damn worried for this movie. I already know that it's gonna be better than the first but that isn't really saying much. I should just go into this movie with low expectations so there's no possible way I can be let down and only surprised at it's amazingness. Or so I hope.

I just got back from seeing it. I most tell you that this is way most better then the first one. It has more action pack. I love the fight scenes and the gore scenes were awesome. This is the AVP I've been waiting for. The first one has nothing but PG - 13 crap. I enjoy this more then the first one. Also PredAlien was bad ass.
