Minnesota is losing to I think Bowling Green right now.. not a good start.
As for Appalachian St. I am amazed to see a DII school beat a DI school.
Biggest upset in college football history by a mile. Boise St. was a nice story but this is insane.

Not only is it bad bacause a D2 school beat a ranked D1 school a bunch of players and Lloyd Carr (retirement) also decided to come back another year instead of going pro just because they thought they could win a National championship.

did anyone see the WV game last nite???
Steve Slaton, as of last nite, was my favorite college player..but now i think Noel Devine but of took his place

man went nuts last nite...i only seen the 1st 3 quarters and he had 4 carrys for like 120 something yards WOW
hes only like 5 7 and 170 lbs...very little...but very quick...i hate to say it but he reminds me alot of Barry

Today is all about the college football. Plan on watching all of these games, and here are my picks.

(1)USC at (14)Nebraska
USC (blow out, their D is too good)
Correct

(22)Tennessee at (5)Florida
Florida (one of the better games)
Correct, became a blow out

(6)Texas at Central Florida
Texas (overated, but will still win big)
Correct, closer then I thought though

Citadel at (7) Wisconsin
Wisconsin (I think will be a very close game)
Correct, was tied at half but went on a roll late

(9)Louisville at Kentucky
Louisville (Game features best two QBs in CF)
Wrong

(10)Ohio St. at Washington
Washington (First upset, just beat Boise St.)
Wrong, man I didn't think the Buckeyes had such a good D.

(21) Boston College at (15) GA T.
Georgia Tech (Todays best game IMO)
Wrong

(16)Arkansas at Alabama
Alabama (should be a fun one)
Correct

(24)Hawaii at UNLV
Hawaii ( know the name Colt Brennen)
Correct

Pittsburgh at Michigan St.
Michigan St. (both teams should be ranked)
Correct, What a great game, those RBs for M St. kick ass.

Wyoming at Boise St.
Boise St. ( bounce back after a tough loss)
Correct

Wofford at NC St.
Wofford ( my favorite small school)
Wrong

Notre Dame at Michigan
Michigan (battle of the shit teams, but I think that Mike Hart will come out with a purpose and win the game for them, ND has too young of QB's and is a rebuilding year for them anyway.)
Correct, not even close

Preds 9-4

Looked early on like Michigan was going to be the joke of the year, but man, Notre Dame really hit the skids, and is now looking to be 0-5.

Michigan is the joke of the year losing to a DII App St and losing to one of the worst teams in the conference right now to Northwestern. Notre Dame was due to fail because they lost the core of their offensive line and Brady Quinn.

The game I am wetting myself over is the Tulane LSU game. Even though LSU has a 10 to 9 lead, LSU was favored by 41 points. Unlike college basketball last year this is the year of the underdogs in college football, because unlike basketball a close loss to a great team can also mean a win respect wise.

Game of the Week Cal at Oregon... I have jumped on Oregons bandwagon and pray that they can pull this one out.
My Upset Kansas State over Texas... Colt McCoy is overrated big time.

Good point, but I'm not sure the loss of that offensive personnel accounts for how miserable they are, and giving up 30+ a game - six games in a row going back to last season's last two, and now in jeapordy of making that seven in a row. There's no way I expected them to drop to square one retooling. All phases are pretty lousy.

Hope ESPN carries the Michigan St. @ Wisc game. Been pretty lucky so far this year getting to watch all the Badger games in my area.

Looks like you'll either get that one or Clemson @ Georgia. Hopefully there's enough Badger demand out there.

It's on ABC in the midwest market but for outermarkets ESPN will carry it.

'Clemson @ Georgia or Mich St. @ Wisc' is what it says on my programming guide. I just have to wait until kickoff to find out. :dsp:

Yep, good game. Luckily Wisc didn't fall victim to 'Dog Day Afternoon'. Playing defense like that though, they will eventually.

The number of major upsets today were crazy.

Steve Slaton?

DARREN MCFADDEN is the best player in college football right now.

Jerry Jones & the COWBOYS have already sworn that they're going to do whatever they have to do to draft him.

I went to GEORGIA, so we've got a big game against TENNESSEE this weekend.

Its always lovely to see Ohio St. lose especially to an unranked Illinois. Gives hope for my bandwagon team Oregon to get to the title game.

Funny thing is....
Ohio State is being rewarded more for NOT playing now then they did when they were winning/losing games. If Mizzou loses or West Virginia lose then Ohio State will be in the NC by default.
Pretty shitty if you ask me and i hope to god someone kicks these people who decide whats going on with the BCS next season and says "see, see, look at last year! now give me one reason we dont need an 8 team play off!"
Honestly every year goes by and i just get sickened by the BCS. This year should be the year that everyone steps back and says that it really does need to change.

Haha, I saw this quote on the ESPN forums and had to post it here.

"Ohio State moved from No. 5 to No. 3 last week by not playing. It's possible the Buckeyes will move from No. 3 to No. 1 this week by not playing. The Buckeyes may be hoping not to play Jan. 7 in order to win the national championship."
