Anyone know what's up with Demonoid? I heard that it was finally taken down, and their site doesn't seem to work anymore. :cry:

I didnt use demonoid too much. I used torrentspy. which is now blocking US IPs.

I always preferred isohunt to torrentspy it had more links and peers. The cool thing about torrentspy was the comments giving you advice

damn and i had a crazy good ratio too...i downloaded something and for some reason my download ratio didnt move but my upload did so my ratio went through the roof. also a great place for retro cartoons.

Bummer, while I use OiNK most of the time... Demonoid is always my other option when I want to get music freely so it won't hurt my ratio.

Its down again. Well for me it is. It says 'The latest changes to the site are giving us some problems - We'll be back soon'.

There's rumblings that Demonoid has finally found a new home for the server, as the tracker is apparently starting to pick up steam again. However, the site itself is still inactive, aside from the forums. We can only hope that this is a positive sign that the site will eventually be available again.

no doubt... I've sorely missed having demonoid around.... There have been several instances where I was looking for something and couldn't find it on the mile long list of torrent sites I have, but I know with certainty, if I could have gone to demonoid, I'd have found it with ease.
