I don't know if anyone else has posted about this, but as I came across Jeniffer Tilly's Profile on Wikipedia, her movie credits sais Revenge of Chucky in Production. It dosn't have its own page yet, but it's something.

if chucky went back to being evil I wouldnt mind it. After C3 I stopped watching. The last 2 or so were horrid. I couldnt find anything on it other than a few forum postings.

I liked the last 2. "Evil Chucky" doesn't do much for me. At least Bride and Seed admit what a stupid fucking idea a murderous doll is.
I'll keep an eye out for this. Better than a remake.

I have only liked Bride of Chucky. I could also never take a killer doll seriously. Better as a horror comedy.

if you google Revenge of Chucky wikipedia DOES come up. When you click the link there is nothing there.
If you Google Cache it brings up this:

Revenge of Chucky is the working title for the sixth film in the Child's Play series, featuring the evil doll Chucky, and his equally evil girlfriend Tiffany. The movie is rumoured to be in production, and is slated for a 2008 release. It is not yet known if it will see a theatrical release.
Tony East from Mill End, England is currently working on a draft for a script but it is unknown whether or not Don Mancini will be using any aspects of the script. The script East is currently writing is said to include many aspects of all five previous child's play films, including Andy Barclay (from the first three installments), Kristen Da Silva (from the Child's play 3) and Jade and Jesse (from Bride of Chucky).
Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif and Billy Boyd are all expected to return as the infamous dolls Tiffany, Chucky and Glen/Glenda but it is unclear if Andy Barclay is to return, whether or not Alex Vincent or Justin Whalin will reprise the role. Tony East has expressed interest for the role of Andy.

Nice work, my hunch is that this could just be one final film and hopefully do the right thing, that is put the series to an end.

I agree. I know it's implied at the ending of "Seed of Chucky", but there's really nowhere to go with the story. If Chucky were to get "revenge" on Tiffany and Glen, they'd have to keep it all Hollyweird, since that's where it left off. Unless Chucky is successful in turning his family back into dolls, it can't go anywhere.

Yeah they should end it with this one, they dont want to turn it into Leperchaun (sp? ) or Hellraiser...pointless crap sequels imo.

I've said this before: I'm of the opinion that the Child's Play series should be redone and started again from the beginning in the same light that they're remaking Batman's Dark Knight.
I think the first three Child's Play films, as well as the last two, were all effective, just in different ways. I'm a big fan of the first three and I personally do find something terrifying about living killer dolls (this fear might have stemmed due to an issue I had with a "My Brother" doll as a child). As for "Bride" and "Seed", I definitely wouldn't call them bad movies when categorized as a "horror comedy", but I personally wouldn't have added them to continue the tradition of the first three.
IF this movie were to be made, it sounds like they might get back on track of the original idea, but I would say this would be their last chance to redeem themselves to Child's Play fans.
Sometimes I ramble.

I would agree with you on that, except for the fact that we have enough horror remakes as is. They've remade The Hitcher, Omen, Dawn of the Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, The Wicker Man and we still have Friday the 13th, Hellraiser and god knows what else they want to defile. I say do one big finally film and end the series.

That's the only way this movie could scare anyone. You' saw when you were under 5 and owned a my buddy doll.

I don't 100% agree that those people would be the only ones who would be scared by this movie. I happen to think the concept of killer toys in general is quite disturbing, especially when a lot of kids, both back when I was a kid in the 80's and kids now, have got parents who allow them to watch horror films. Kids play with dolls and will always play with dolls. While it's true that the "My Buddy" or "Kid Brother" or whatever the hell that evil thing was called isn't around anymore, who's to say that a generic dollar store baby or a "Bratz" doll couldn't be some kid's Chucky after watching one of these movies.

agreed bad idea. maybe instead of remaking them just make the next couple of movies go back to its roots instead of childish stories.

I don't think it would be a good idea to just ignore the fact that Bride and Seed were made and go back to the original storyline. They'd have to tie them in somehow, which might not be such an easy thing to do considering how far off the path they strayed with the whole comedy shtick.

last time I checked, TDK is NOT a remake.

I'm aware that Dark Knight is not a remake, however, in making Dark Knight, the original Batman series is being reinvented and in my first post on the subject I said that they should do the child's play series in the same light that they're "remaking" the Batman series. I guess I should have said reinventing since my phrasing seemed to cause so much confusion.

Not a bad idea unless they continue with the stupid fucking comedy. God I wanted to kill those bastards for ruining the franchise like that. When I look at all the crappy sequels to the other horror movies like Hellraiser, Leprechaun, Halloween, etc. Chucky really got jammed by the hard dick of Hollywood. As a fan of Child's Play growing up I would like Chucky to have a rejuvenation at least to the point to where he fucking kills tiffany and glen and gets back to business of getting into another body. Let this be it IF....IF it happens.

I'm confused?? I thought they were remaking the first film and not doing a sixth part?? I've liked them all but the last one. I thought that it was just too much of a comedy. At least the fourth film had a couple of minorly creepy scenes.

either restart the series or make the sequals go back to what made the first one work. I realize its a killer doll and thats a bit ridiculous but the sequals have just gotten laughably bad.
