Some of the first seasons have hilarious ep's.
If you're looking for a new show to get into definatly check it out.

Big Ass Mama was on of my favorite ep's. The child molester one was gold too :mhehe:

this season has been a vast improvment over the previous season.

I've noticed that people aren't liking this season as much as the other seasons. That said, I think it's great and just as entertaining as the other seasons. I could watch all the episodes of this show over and over again and still think it's hilarious. Right now I'm watching "The Corpse Sniffing Dog," great stuff.

Fright, you might find season 1 & 2 kind of slow (rough not polished), from season 3 and on are gold! Its like Seinfeld, the first 2 seasons where decent but once it got polished...well the rest is history. Fav. Episode of all time is 'The Car Pool Lane' season 4 ep. 36. Larry finds an innovative way to use the HOV lane to get to a Dodgers game, and pays a price for getting his dad some medicinal marijuana. Also Fright I dont know if you know this, but Curb is script free, the actors only know what the premise is for each scene is and the rest is improvised. Great show, give it a shot and you will find yourself looking for every episode and wanting more.

Well I finished the first season earlier. Decent show. There are some funny moments, but the only thing that kept me watching were the ridiculous, but interesting situations Larry would find himself in. I'll keep checkin' the seasons since a lot of people say it gets funnier over time. So far I've noticed Larry sure gets angry and yells a lot :ahheh:

If you think Larry gets angry and yells a lot, wait until his agent Jeff's wife gets involved...trust me!!

The whole series centers around the situations Larry finds himself in. And they are precious!

Season 5, episode 5. I watch maybe around 4 or 5 eps a day. I'm always curious to see what mix-up Larry finds himself in each episode

tonights was pretty good, I missed the first bit. But I am pretty sure Zoe Bell was in it. So far the Rat Dog episode was the best.

Yeah, the anniversary thing is a small story arch that starts early in season four and "concludes" in the last ep.

Haven't seen the cell phone episode yet. I like the series. It started off kinda rough with the first season, but the situations and jokes seemed to improve as the seasons went on. It's hilarious watching Larry get accused of so many things from hating black people to getting a little too "friendly" with a dog.

Yeah the cell phone was a classic

I thought it was the last ep. cause it took 2 years for season 6 to come out. Im glad they didnt stop and hope they keep making more episodes. We all know how HBO is with good television, they cancel it.

thorn_man
10-23-2007, 12:31 AM
some of my favorites include the Baptism episode, and of course one of the season 5 episodes where Larry tries to befriend the kidney donor agency jew, and makes random Yiddish-sounding mumbles throughout their conversation. "My yamika almost fell off when I heard you liked the Yankees!"

steelba
10-23-2007, 08:55 PM
I think that might have been the end, but it's popularity has grown so it's still around.
Although this season isn't nearly s good as the last season, regardless of what mofo's are saying.

Finally caught up with the season. So is this Cheryl split supposed to imitate Larry's real split with his wife? I can see the series continuing without her and open a lot of new storylines in terms of him dating and what-not.

thorn_man
10-24-2007, 03:40 PM
Well i'm almost positive this is supposed to be the last season, chances are they'll be back together by the finale.
I don't know when he and his real wife split, but there have been clips of this particular episode in promos since august, that doesn't mean they made the entire episode of course, but chances are if his real life split was recent, it wasn't intentionally added.

the addition to the black family has been a huge boost for the show this year for me, not typical larry, but typical larry has been missing for a few seasons anyways.. the past two weeks have been classic thanks to them. The 'n' word was vintage ld and yesterday when LD came up with that plan for leon to rob the lady and he'd save the day left me in tears.... "i cant just let you tackle me and not fuck you up LD, i need to break your teeth or your glasses"

the therapist was a great nod to old school larry david and leon just makes it that much better.

he is very funny, however i think the next season will pick up with them dancing...i believe what we saw the last 3 minutes, 3 fucking off the wall hilarious minutes, was just him thinking about how it could be..
