I think it looks alright. I really liked the first one. I will get a copy of this when it comes out over here.

i watched it on ON DEMAND yesterday. somewhat entertaining but too much shitty CGI and the storyline wasnt too interesting. Anyone else notice that the professor's voice sounds awefully similar to Stephen Price's voice in the first one?

GARBAGE!!!!

Very low quality even by Dark Castle's standards.

movieforumz man! its not worth the wait. Just stream it, get disappointed and move on. Cerina Vincent couldn't save this

Negative, I really wanna check this navigational storyline thing, because I always wondered why movies didn't do something like this sooner.

There's been interactive movies before, it's just no one wanted to see them.

Bob Gale made an early one.

Here's another from 92. Probably more out there.

Yeah, after checking the IMDB boards last week I discovered that earlier movies did have a similar feature. Lemme rephrase my last statement to 'I've always wondered why more popular films didn't have this'.

well it seems like a costly gimmick, theaters had to install special remotes for the films. DVD seems like a more appropriate format for it. Since you can click to any scene. Maybe it will catch on.

I can see it on DVD and online, but definitely not theaters.

I liked it. I thought it was good. Not as good as the original, but I still enjoyed it.

Decent flick, not as entertaining as the original. Some pretty cool scenes but the characters weren't really all that convincing.

Didn't one of the final destination dvds have the interactive feature?

If you could call it that. It was such a lame thing. The options weren't all that varied or entertaining. Hell, some of the options weren't even real options. You tried to change something and the same thing ended up happening anyway. Uber lame.

I liked the first one but this one was kind of disappointing I thought and I actually bought it...UGH. This one didnt really scare me at all.

The scariest part of the first one to me is when the girl in the beginning is filming and sees people in the camera that aren't really there, then that damm thing comes at her.....Yikes

Got the movie a while back from netflix and watched it where I got to choose what happened. I had to watch it twice, because I chose one option where it lead to everyone dying like 30-minutes before the film was even supposed to end, so I guess that was the "bad" ending. The options are pretty much pointless, where only a couple actually led to some minor changes into the storyline (like I mentioned above). Should have a more detailed review soon.

Went back and discovered an alternate ending that I like a lot more than what I originally got.

What're the budgets for most of these straight to DVD movies?

FrighT MasteR

Depends on the studio backing'em up, but if you're talking about pointless sequels like this, I think they're all generally under $2-million.
