Great film! Excellent performances from Denzil and Russell. It didn't have as much violence as I expected, but it was good none-the-less.

one of the few movies I'm looking forward to along with I am Legend and No Country for Old Men. Washington is my favorite actor, looks amazing.

Looks like this film is spreading fast two streams are up over at movieforumz site and im sure more are elsewhere. I'll probably try and catch some of it either tonight or tommorrow but i might just see it at the movies with friend from work also.

This one looks really good. I'll have to read up on this Frank Lucas guy. I'll watch anything with Denzel that looks remotely interesting myself.

I just got done watching it and all I can say is wow. Its a pretty damn good movie and I might also look up some stuff on Frank Lucas after watching this.

Solid movie across the board. Loved the gritty look and feel of late 60's/early 70's New York more than the story or any of the performances though.

Excellent film, probably my fav for this year film was solid across the board they nailed the feel and look of the late 60s and early 70's good stuff 8/10.

Saw it last night. Very very good movie. I agree with Fright that I expected more violence but still good flick.
