Given how close this and the original seem from what the teaser shows, I doubt it, and if that's the case... not cool.
Still, I was surprised at how good the teaser makes it seem for an American remake.

Don't get me wrong, I love the shaky cam movies. Gives it a sense of realism. But like, I cannot stand movies that like to prey off the success of other movies. Well it worked for cloverfield so lets give it a try! I mean, I know it's been done before long before cloverfield, but that's just it. It was done long before cloverfield. Before Cloverfield, I haven't seen one of those movies for quite a while, now they are popping up left and right.

ugh, I posted about this cuz I'm blind and apparently can't see posts right in front of my face. I think the idea of the movie is good, but the execution isn't my thing cuz I don't like the shaky cam stuff.

It adds some realism to add a seen like that into a movie yeah. But being the whole movie it'd just be annoying. And from Frights review the original is so shaky I'd probably hate it. So I probably won't be seeing this either. BUT it is good to see the chick from Dexter makin some movies.

[Rec] was alright... the camera was way too shakeyfor my taste though. The chick they casted for the lead looks just like the girl from the original. I can't believe they showed the ending in the trailer... thats pretty weak...

I hope this ultra-shaky-cam method doesn't overstay it's welcome. It hasn't quite run its course yet, I don't think, but hopefully they don't take too much advantage of it.

This movie should have been left well alone.There was nothing wrong with the spanish version(it was fucking fantastic AND frightening) and gor some reason,i think it will lose a lot of the impact.

this movie seems interesting well even if i find it boring it will be something my siblings that are afraid of horror movies could see or if its scary then i can just watch them be scared so its a win win for me ^_____^

I thought [REC] was a great film and really wasnt expecting the climax that it had!!! I dont see why it had to re-made so soon, there was nothing wrong with it, on that basis i cannot really say much regarding quarantine because it is literally the same film!! And for those of you that live in the uk, i brought [REC] from HMV

haven't caught this one yet "quarintine", but it's original "rec" is an amazing horror film, i know the US version has a pg-13 rating, but "rec" tops a lot of movies in my book of horror!
