View Full Version : I downloaded a movie..but all i get is the sound

heres my perdicament...
i just downloaded a movie and went to watch it using the VLC or VCL player, whatever its called, and all i get is the sound...
i try watching it on the windows media player..all i get is the Video to play minus teh sound..
i tried using both programs simoutanisly but i cannot match it at the right time...if all elses fails i guess ill just have to settle on tryin to matchin it

does anyone know what the fuck is wrong??
please some one tell me...
ive had a extremely bad day, and will be resovled by mass amounts of Alchohol later tonight.
any help will be greatly appreciated..

does anyone know if i burn the file to a dvd will it just be audio and no video, or video and no audio.

Just download k-lite mega codec pack, that'll cover all your issues:

g-spot will also tell you what codec's the file is using and if you have them or not.

I downloaded Leatherface: TCM 3, and it had a foreign voice over the english so I couldn't hear what they were saying.

You can fix that with tmpgenc by basically saving the video and sound seperate. split the sound into 2 files )keep english( and put it back together. can't say its worth the effort but yeah

That codec pak & the v player are such a hit & miss. I had bittorrent & bitcomet & pulled my hair out. Latley, I've been watching everything for free on ssupload.com they're down right now but I saw 30 days of night like 2 months ago on it & Saw IV earlier this summer. It's pretty cool. Can't download but you can watch anything old & new, it's awesome. I still hate the torrents!
