HARD AS FUCK
I beat GH2 on expert pretty easily, I mean I really didn't even have to practice any song but Hangar 18. The last set of songs on GH3, however, are insane. Raining Blood, One, Mark of the Beast, Cliffs of Dover is beatable, but my god. At least Raining Blood you can fail in the beginning, One is easy as fuck until the ending solo, which is only 23 minutes into the song give or take. Anybody else having issues with the difficulty on the last tier? I'm having to go back and beat it on hard just so I can get Through Fire and Flames.

I barely beat any of the last tier of songs. I think the highest score and percentage I got on the last tier was Cliffs of Dover, which I got a 95%. But Raining Blood,One, and Number of the Beast took me a couple of tries to beat.

Can't wait til I get this, it comes out in about 10 days or so over here. I can barely do Guitar Hero 2 on hard let alone on expert. But the playlist on GH3 looks awesome.

I blew through it on hard, until I got to Lou. You just have to get lucky and hope he doesn't get the good battle items, because he always gets the first one. Make sure you get yours everytime, use them on him before he can get his, and hope you get really good ones.
Anyway, TFAF is unbelievable. I beat the fuck out of GH1 and 2 on Expert, and I still joined the 1% club on TFAF. When I saw all those notes coming at me I literally locked up except for my jaw which dropped. Every bit of the intro is Hammer ons and pull offs, but still, it's so fast and all over the place it's difficult to keep going.
I still haven't re-tried the last tier on expert. Don't really feel like it to be honest. As much as I like the series, I'm not satisfied with Neversoft and how they made this game. If GH2 would've already had online MP, this game wouldn't have gotten near as good of reviews as it's gotten.

On expert, the only songs I'm having trouble with are Raining Blood and Through the Fire and Flames. Other than that, its pretty simple. On Lou's battle, I can smoke him as long as he doesn't hit me with a lefty flip or double notes.

From what I've read, Lou in expert is easier than hard. You just have to keep restarting it until you get the whammy and use it on him at the right moment and he fails within 2 seconds.
I'm sure I could beat one if I practiced a little bit, I've beat cliffs of dover and Mark of the beast is doable. Raining blood is insane.

I sat and watched my cousin and a friend of mine play this yesterday. I just can't buy into the hype. Its a $60 matching game. More expensive if you dont have the controller and I couldnt even enjoy the songs for the sound of their guitars going "click click click".

I played Rockband at Walmart over the weekend. Either im slow or the drums were hard...even on easy. The guitar for RB was half assed, it really looks like they put their time into the drums....

Yeah I'm looking forward to playing the drums on expert or whatever is the highest. So does the drums actually match with the song? Meaning pretty much hitting every drum you hear.

Lou on expert is a fucking chore. I barely survived Raining Blood to get to him and I'm playing this shit and he gets the first attack which is either a lefty flip or double notes. damn frustrating.
