Really awful film in my opinion. For those of you who've never heard of this film it uses the basic slasher formula.Kids go to dark and scary place.Killer escapes from asyulm and hunts them down.Lets get down to the basics Script: half and half Acting: So-So Kills:The Usual. But maybe your asking why does Gill hate this movie? well the execution of it in fact. the first 30 minuites are getting to know the charecters and the rest is watching them run get killed and cry. yes they don't fight back they run and cry one of them leaving the other to die to find the rest of the kids. And the ending will not suprise you

3/10

Opinion: Don't Bother

Never seen this one, but aren't most slashers about thirty minutes of character developement and an hour or forty minutes of watching them run and get killed? If you hate this movie because of the formula and bad acting you must be disappointed by a lot of slashers.

I'm sure she can't regret it any more than Homie Spumoni :die:

Good little Meadow. I had high hopes for her after The Sopranos.

This, like every other "8 Films To Die For" That I've seen...is pure trash. I use it as a coaster now.

The Afterdark Horrorfest's "films to Die For" Festival started LAST YEAR. The 8 movies from the 2006 festival are on DvD now, easily noticed by the 'After dark horror fest' marking along the side of the DvD case. Dark Ride was one of the 2006 films, which where most know it from. Check my DvD collection link under the D section for the picture of the DvD case... The festival is now an annual deal due to its popularity.

Edit: The 8 films from the 2006 Horrorfest are: The Abandoned, Dark Ride, the Gravedancers, the Hamiltons, Penny Dreadful, Reincarnation, Unrest, and the Wicked Little Things. All in my DvD collection link for visual aid. 2007's 8 films will be released to DvD around mid next year, far as we've been told. Enjoy.
