I dunno if this was technically a foreign film, but considering it took place over seas I figured what the hell. I was told by a friend I really needed to watch this and I am glad I did. Elijah Wood plays a kid who is wrongfully kicked out of Harvard so he goes to London to visit his sister. There he gets caught up in the underground world of what people here in the states call Soccer Hooligans. Very very good movie. There were things I did and didn't like about the ending. But all in all its a smart movie. Lots of fighting but a film that also makes you think. Any other films like this I should check out? What about Football Factory?

I've actually been meaning to watch this. Good to know someone on this board has seen it.

Green Street is much more story orientated than the Football Factory. The Football Factory is more based around the violence and life of football hooliganism. If I had to pick, I would choose Green Street over the Football Factory, but it's still really good.
The violence was very realistic which was cool, cuz there's been pretty poo movies where it's all OTT.
I thought I would of hated Elijah Wood in this, but he impressed me in this flick, it just shows that he isn't just a little hobbit. Or a Dolphin following fag.

I think I might have to go and buy the DVD to this, cuz it was cool.

Football Factory kicked major ass and is way better than Green Street Hooligans. I know tons of hooligans in London personaly and they think GSH was the biggest joke they have ever seen. I have documentries that were way better than GSH.
