Black Friday - Who goes?

So who all goes out on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) to stand in line super early to get cheap shit?

I dont, I find it ridiculous. I went out one year to see what is was like, but it is NOT for me. Yes, some stores have some deals, but is it really worth waking up at 2am, driving, freezing, get run over by that cow of a mother?

I usually work Black Friday. I loved it when I worked at the mall, but now I'm at a Target store it will probably suck big balls.

haha, I worked at Staples for 2 years. I cannot believe how many people line up for an office supply store! We didnt even have any good deals. We always got random shit in - portable DVD players and TVs....we dont even sell them normally.

I hear ya man...I work at OD...it hasn't been too bad the past two years...cause at my old store I worked there was a BB and CC right next door so they weren't too crowded.

My new store...there is nothing there but my OD store...maybe the Target and Radio Shack might take some business but not likely.

I went last year, twas' fun, though my cheap ass couldn't get any deals. :( But I did buy a TV-on-DVD set for $45 and a CD for $14. :(

I take care of that in one day and that Friday is not the day.

I got dragged out two years ago to Best Buy. I froze all night and I didn't get shit, but my girlfriend at the time got a desktop computer for dirt cheap. This year I'll be working the opening shift. Oughtta be interesting.

Anyways, I'm kind of excited. Like I said, I'm one of those rare people who actually enjoy working retail during the holidays and I have a morning shift. 6-3 Woot!

Seems like it would be a great day to work if you work somewhere where you'd get tips, like Home Depot, or maybe another lot person at Best Buy, helping people load TVs and shit into their car. Otherwise no, my family and I just go get our tree the day after Thanksgiving and then I usually just come home and watch a movie.

Not for me. Never done it, not planning to. I have friends who did it and invited me, but I turned them down right there. It's a combination of a couple things I hate. Going out somewhere late at night (mostly if I'm tired) and crowded places. Though, I will admit, they do have good deals on some stuff, that is, if you actually can get it.
