I've driven through Texas a few times. 90% of the state smells like cow shit.

I've only driven through a few times. Never really stopped anywhere.

Not sure about the queers, but they weren't joking about the steers. :D

Your loss. I wasn't sure how I'd like it...but Ive been to almost all 50 states, and the people here are the nicest I've ever met. Even the peeps at fast food actually treat you like they honestly enjoy their jobs. I love Illinois but Texas has em on hospitality and climate. Really lovin' it here. As far as the cow dung smell....I haven't noticed it in the city, but they do have quite a few cows.

A correction to the post above this one...the only thing that sucks about Texas so far is that when the Cowboys are playing..they are on EVERY channel...no matter what other games are on. And being anything but a Cowboys fan here is almost a sin...but people will just have to get used to my Bears apparel cause it ain't goin' no where. :D

HHAHAHAAHA haven't been here long enough....Im stationed in Corpus Christi....if you ever come down here you will see the worst drivers on the planet...not saying the people aren't nice...but damn everyone acts like they learned to drive from idiots. I have avoided many near misses here. My first day here with my car last yr in may someone almost side swiped me because they tried to merge without looking!!! I hope you have good insurance!!!! The climate is to hot for me here, but i like how everything is so close together...don't have to spend thirty mintues to get to the mall....

Only real driving problem I've encountered is the speed limit is 60 on all the freeways around the city. Other then that there's no real difference. As far as climate goes...it was in the 30s yesterday, and didn't get above 50 today. So it's not overly hot, but I relish being able to enjoy 60-80 degree weather in late November.
