Whatcha all do for work?

I know in the past posts have been made about this, but seeing how maybe 30% of posters from, say, three years ago are still here, I figured it would be interesting to make this post again.

I started a job at a medical software company recently, which, so far, I like. Soon I'll be traveling to hospitals to teach people how to use a particular module I specialize in, which should be pretty fun and refreshing.

I'm thinking about picking up a second part time job to help pay off the student loans within the next five or so years (according to my plan that only makes sense in my mind), and I thought I'd make a post to see what other people are doing with their lives. This way, if I see something that sounds interesting, I can try that as a second source of income.

So, where do you spend 40 +/- hours a week?

I work as a PC support tech for the Executives of a very large shipping company based in Pittsburgh (do your research if you want to know). Can be very stressful at times, but some nice perks (free schtuff and food).

I work the bar at the moment.

I'm a qualified football coach though, so hopefully, in the summer i'm going to go abroad (hopefully the US) and coach there for the summer.

I got a degree in Criminal Justice just because I enjoyed the classes but now that I'm graduated I've gotta find something to do with it. I like DNA and Fingerprints and forensics and that stuff but you gotta go to Nashville for all that mostly. I live in Tennessee.

I'm still in the banking industry have been there for a little over 5 years guess they haven't found a way to kick me out yet. I'm also taking a class a night at DelTech Community College for Residential Wiring 1 i will be taking 2 at the end of Jan and then i think Commercial is next after that.

I am an instore representative for a professional beauty supply. I am aspiring to become a cosmetologist (as soon as I get over a phobia of touching people's hair) and make up artist.
Then I want to become a pornographer. And a hair stylist on the side.

I graduate in December from Southern Miss, but I've just taken and passed the MS life/accident/health insurance exam, and I start on Dec. 14 as a field agent for New York Life. I never pictured myself selling insurance, but they want to pair me with my best friend, which will be cool. Plus, my business administration degree will help me in my pitches to the business which we'll talk to. The retirement plan is awesome, and I basically make my own hours. There are tons of bonuses available, and the commissions are great.

From here, I may move into insurance investigation or something along those lines.

Man, u remind me of one of my friends. Thats exactly what he did. But he got fired cuz he brought a flask into work with him one day plus he was 19 so u know.

Full time webmaster and part time apprentice in the electronic entertainment industry. (Not porn.)

I am an Activities Therapist at a nursing home, which basically means I plan their recreational schedule and implement it. I brought some high school cheerleaders in today because of the OSU/Michigan game this Saturday and those old men were LOVING it.

I'm playing with a few other ideas right now though maybe thinking about going back to fighting, maybe teaching at my bjj place. Who knows I'm still pretty young.

Im a US Navy hospital corpsman i specialize in aviation medicine that means i see pilots at sickcall and do their physical exams thats the basic stuff..the fun stuff is when you get to the fleet...i go to fleet deployment in 2009. Im also using my tuition assistance to take classes at the college campass on base so i can become a microbiologist...one day i hope to either be a lead researcher at a lab or work for the cdc.

I started work for Furniture Row back in January in the warehouse...I was promoted to sales in April, and was just promoted to Manager this last week, to which I had to relocate from the Springfield, IL store to the one in Wichita Falls, TX. Basically, I sell furniture and manage the store.

Well, I'm a full-time high school student, my band get's paid like $50 for gigs we get like 2 or 3 times a month, and I'm looking around for a graveyard shift job.

I'm gonna be going to College next year where I will major in Stage Lighting and Either Musical Theatre or Drama

I work the graveyard shifts at a petrol station, but in my spare time a group of us have made a feature film and we're currently trying to finish everything off and get distribution.. turns out its a very long process!
