IGN gives crysis a 9.4

I kinda expected it to be a little higher since they gave super mario galaxy a 9.7.I wish i had a fucking beast of a computer to play it.

Of course they were going to give it an outrageous score. They've been hyping the shit out of it for the past 2 years.

I played the demo and I wasn't impressed in the slightest. It's 'Far Cry' with better graphics. Nothing more, nothing less. The only cool new thing is grabbing guys by the throat and tossing them 20 feet but even that gets old after 5 minutes.

I enjoyed the demo a lot, but with Halo 3, Call of Duty 34, and tomorrow, Assassin's Creed, still burning up my free time, it isn't worth getting yet.

I'm really enjoying the game. It is pretty much like an upgraded version of Far Cry, but I happen to really like Far Cry, so it works out for me. I haven't fought any aliens yet, but I think I'm getting close.

what settings are you able to play on?

I got everything on High with my 1920x1200 resolution. I'm upgrading my comp this week with a new processor, more ram and graphics card, so hopefully later I can kick it up to 'very high' :D

Awesome game! Just beat it. It starts off pretty much like a Far Cry clone, except with a badass suit, which is fun, but got repetitive at times. Once the Alien stuff kicks in it goes from a good game to a great game! This is probably one of the best shooters (aside from Half-Life 2) that I've ever played. The graphics are amazing and beautifully detailed, especially when inside the big ship and during the ice age sequences. The graphics are so amazing in fact, that it's something that you have to invite a bunch of friends over just to marvel at its magnificence :D

9/10 -- Would have given it a straight 10 if the gameplay with the North Koreans didn't get so repetitive.

I didn't play the demo before trying the game out, so I'm not sure what it contained, but I'd assume probably the dull North Korean stuff.
