Anyone OCD about things?
For me i'm quite OCD when it comes to stairs, I have to run up them. I can never walk up or down them.
When there is offers in the shop, for example 2 bottles of coke for £1.40 I have to buy the offer.
And when I have an itch somewhere I have to itch the opposite side too. For example, if I had an itchy left thigh, i'd have to itch the right thigh afterwards.
I'm a freak. :ahheh:

I think everybody has a little OCD in them. Anytime I'm holding an empty bottle I twirl the thing between my fingers. And by that I mean I put an index finger on each side of the bottle and twirl it with my middle fingers. I find myself doing that everytime.

My husband likes to organize haha. If things aren't lined up, he aligns them. It's not like, he needs professional help bad, but you should see it when I askew the candles or tilt the paintings we have on the wall.
As for myself, I have an actual diagnosed disorder called CSP (Compulsive Skin Picking Disorder). Around my teenage year, when I got more into looks and such, I developed a talent for clearing every visible pore on my face with my fingers/tweezers/whatever. I do it about 5 times a week before bed or going out.

Nope, can't say I have any signs of OCD.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go wash my hands exactly 27 times before dinner where I'll separate my food into even portions on my plate.

I think a lot of you are are mistaking bad habits and fidgeting with a serious brain disorder.
OCD - exaggerated anxiety or fears that have no basis in reality. an anxiety disorder in which a person has an unreasonable thought, fear, or worry that he or she tries to manage through a ritualized activity to reduce the anxiety. a sense of urgency and tension rises until the person feels compelled to act on the obsessive thought

I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
That was the only diagnosed that I've ever had that actually made sense to me. As far as what was happening to me was a long list.
I have safety issues, and I have to check the door three times in a row to make sure it's locked or else I won't feel right.
I don't like touching children.. and when I'm an nervous, I dry heeve.
There is and was more. but when the doctor told me I was ocd, it totally made sense.

lets see... If I crack the knuckles on my left hand I have to do the same on my right hand or else I really feel strange and...out of order.
I'm a compulsive nail biter, if by some chance I can manage to let my nails grow out some one usualy brakes or gets nicked and I HAVE to trim it down. Not just that finger either, once it starts I have now control over looking for fingernails that might be 'uneven' and then I'll spend anywhere from 5-10 minutes chewing and cutting them to try to straighten them out some. Its so damn bizaare. I've been chewing at my left index finger as I type this post too.
Trying to get this undercontrol aint easy.

Top 3 OCD like habbits of mine:
1. Snack food: All candy, chips, and the like MUST be eaten in even numbers. Odd piece remainder is thrown away with the bag. If said food is colorized like gummy bears or M&Ms, it must be eaten in colored pairs; blue/blue, red/red. Pieces without a matching partner are thrown away.
2. TV volume: Must be on an even number if I am watching the TV. I purposely take the remote from some people who leave it on odd numbers and change it myself.
3. DvD collection: All DvDs must be removed from carrying cases or shelf unit and reorganized each time a new DvD is added to collection.
There's much more... don't get me started.
I'm odd, but who isn't?

I'm picky about how my DVD's are, too. alphabetical order, and the series in chronological order, with the remake series going first.

I tend to talk to myself a lot (craziness), and if I think about something while I'm doing this, and I don't say what's on my mind, or even whisper it, it'll bug the crap out of me, so I'll even say my thought out loud like 20 minutes later. I only do this when I'm alone, though.
And with stuff like candy where there are different flavors, I always have to eat one piece of one flavor one at a time until I have one flavor of each that originally came in the bag. Then, I have to eat each piece in the order from my least favorite to my favorite.
And last, at least while I'm awake, I like to have a part of me moving, so if I'm sitting, I'll just do leg up and down shaking thing. If I'm standing, I'll either to that, or shake my hands really fast by my side.
