Really looking forward to seeing it this weekend. Aside from hearing it was really violent, the Cohen brothers are doing it, and almost everything they do is amazing, The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Anyone seen this yet, any opinions?

I'm gonna check it for sure but its not out wide until Nov 21st only playing select right now. It looks like the Cohen Bros took it back to there Blood Simple roots which was an underrated film too but Cohen and crime you can't ever go wrong.

:D When you said the movie looks clutch, I was reminded of Mean Girls because I've never heard clutch used as a slang word before).

But it's all good. Movie looks kickass no matter what word you use.

Looks like one of those incredibly rare events where the movie is better than the book, like with Fight Club or The Godfather.

It's cool to see it's getting a pretty good amount of positive attention, considering it hasn't got a national release yet.

This movie looks really good an I'll see it. But why has it got the title that its got? Doesnt really make sense.

Looks like the only movie that is worth seeing for the next few weeks.

Aside from Hitman and I'm Not There; but yeah, I agree about it being the only movie that's really inviting right now. I went to the movies with my girlfriend yesterday to see Love in the Time of Cholera though, which was pretty good in spite of all the shitty reviews it's getting. But I just found out that No Country for Old Men is only playing in two theaters in Miami. I'm so pissed. Roger Ebert just gave it four stars, which he's not very generous with.

I would see Hitman but it looks like the CGI is too overloading and looks fakey.
I like my action movies real.

'Hitman' looks terrible. Timothy Olyphant has about as much screen presence as a cinder block.

He was good in Deadwood and as Mickey in Scream 2.

Anyway NCFOM looks awesome, I'll probally be seeing it after this weekend.

Best movie I've seen this year so far. Lots of carnage and suspense. A lot of people were disappointed by the ending, but I liked it.

I went to see it this past weekend, but the theater had technical difficulties so all I got was a refund and a coupon for free popcorn...

Saw it last night. The entire time during the first 2 hours the movie was heading towards my favorite of 2007, but man oh man I was really let down by the ending. I'm not one to really kill a movie if I don't agree with the ending but this is different.

SPOILER!

They built up a main character, who was very interesting tough and just very cool, then just killed him with 20 minutes left. He had no dignity in his death or any real explanation. It just felt unfinished. I wasn't looking for a big shootout or anything but anything at all would have been better.

End Spoiler

Overall it's still a really good movie with great characters and acting.

6/10

would have been a 8/10 if not for the ending

I thought it was good, but the only problem was the ending. I thought the ending was overrated and kinda boring.

Saw this today. I thought it could have been better but I liked it. 7.5/10 As everyone has just about agreed upon, the third act was lacking and made the movie seem 4 hours long instead of 2+ change.

Movie was SICK! Javier Bardem was awesome in this flick. Look forward to watch him portray Pablo Escobar in 'Killing Pablo'.
