ANyone played it? Gamespot gave it a rave review, but IGN gave it a so so review, though I dont trust them too much. Looks pretty awesome

The only place I trust gave it a 9.1 so I'm going to check it out. The AI sucks I hear which is disappointing and the missions get repetitious, no online, no replay value and lasts about 12-15hrs. I still think it'll be worth playing or if you are tight on money worth a rent

Nothing in terms of gameplay, but I heard that PS3 doesn't work as well on the technical side. From what I remember reading the PS3 version has framerate issues and longer load times.

I heard the opposite which created a HUGE internet stir.
apparently IGN called out the PS3 version saying it has frame rate issues and slowdowns. While Gamespot said the PS3 version was better and ran smoother and had tighter controls. Then suddenly IGN fixed their review and edited some of the bad comments on the PS3 version out.
From the comparison videos both suffer from load times and the 360 version is 'darker'

Aye, feels like some IGN folks favor 360 over the PS3 in several reviews that I have found rather false when I played the mentioned games. This rewrite of their PS3 review really brings questions about if IGN is completely in microsoft's pocket or just a few reviewers preferring the 360. Wouldn't surprise me if microsft is buying good reviews or payign for 'suggestive' PS3 reviews, but it is a crappy thing to do.

There is no limit to Microsoft playing dirty. Remember when Microsoft tried to crash the Sony PS3 release in France? There was also rumors of Microsoft employees pretending/paying people to pose as kids and spam the internet. Let's not forget the $500+ dollar swag they were giving review sites for Halo 3 so they would give it higher reviews

From what I heard, the PS3 version has a slightly steadier frame rate but the 360 version has better lighting. So there's not really an comparison.

I own both systems, so its easy to rent games and see how full of BS some of these 'neutral' reviews are. Yet another reason why the folks should play demos in stores and see for themselves. :nod:

neither sony or microsoft play fair, I mean, if you really think about it, it's really just a big shit flinging contest..

Got it earlier today with some more of my B-day $ still got some left not sure what else to get. I'm still debating on Kane and Lynch: Deadman but review's haven't been that favorable for the game and i checked Gamestop on friday and one guy said that quite a few people have been returning it not sure why though. A friend of mines said he's gonna try and rent it and then let me know what he think's before i go ahead and get it or check it out for myself.

Creed is awesome. It's a lot longer than people say it is. There's going to be Creed 2 & 3. The game is refreshing. I just got done w/25 to Life when I bought Creed & I have to say, I like shoot 'em up rap games but I'm grew tired of them & Creed is great because there's no guns & it's all medievil & everything is historically correct in it. There are some things I can't give away but the game is a worth a buy & 360 Elite is the way to go to play it. I love this game!
this game is kinda boring. but i guess i should expect that after playing games like Cod4

Anyone else having trouble getting this 1.10 update? I can't seem to go past 11%. During the download it gives me an error saying I've signed out of the Playstation network, then after another minute stops downloading entirely and shows a message on the screen saying an error occurred during the download operation :scratch:

just started this on the 360, only game since bioshock thats kept me playing for more than an hour straight.

This game is cool,but is probably the most repetitive game i've ever played.I know that sounds stupid.This game does a lot of stuff really well,but the actual gameplay just makes you do like 4 different things a bunch of times.

thats what i thought about it...my buddys got a ps3 and i played it over there..good graphics but it wasnt really gorey and it was very repetitive and boring after about like 20 mins..

I played the game for 2 hours last night and I enjoyed it. Great graphics and kills. But I can see it getting very repetitive.

what the fuck kind of ending was that! I was so pissed off! When they do a sequal they need to have more things for you to do, and more ways to kill people. It needs to be more like Hitman in the Kills department. I'll play a sequal but like I said, it needs to add some stuff. This game was real repetative.
