I know there was the footage from Zoot on a Ghostbusters game a couple months ago, but apparently, this is the real deal since Vivendi got the official licence.

All I can say is, Fuck Yea...

This looks great, but concerns me.

The video says that they are ultimately going to make Ghostbusters 3 as this video game. Weren't we supposed to get a CG movie? Are we still maybe going to get both?

Dan and Harold were tossing both ideas around...who knows we may get both, but my money is on then putting all their effort into the video game. All original actors are on board for VO which is a plus. But I could also see the video game as a testing ground for interest in the GB franchise. If the video game does well, we may see a CGI movie down the road.

Shootin' ghost will my Wii mote sounds pretty damn good.

The wii and ps2 are getting a watered down, more cartoonish version of the game compaired to the 360/ps3

Yeah I miss it. Compared to todays games it is crap, but when I was playing it in 1986 on a computer it was awesome.

Was it different then the Nintendo version? I thing the AVGN got it spot on with his 3 part Ghostbusters review. I tried playing the one for the Sega Mega Drive, and it was slightly better then the NES one...but I just don't like the format. However I did rather enjoy the Sega Genesis Ghostbusters game.

The one that came out for the arcade only - ("The Real Ghostbusters") I think it was called was fairly decent. If you can get the ROM and play it on MAME, pretty fun.

Game looks okay graphics wise, but I am not really into video games anymore (haven't owned a console since PS1)

I'd rather see a third film, live action or CGI.

This months issue of Game Informer. I'll try to dig up a link. A quick check on IGN shows that the ps2/wii version has a different developer than the ps3/360 versions.

I'm led to understand that the Wii version will use the remote as the proton pack. If this is so then I have made my decision in this round of the console war.

I've seen enough of the old games based off of the Nerd reviews to say myself 'I'll wait till we get some solid, positive reviews'.

Well it's by the same peeps who did Scarface: The World is Yours, and that game pretty much kicked all kinds of ass....so I'm excited about this.
