Fantasy / Adventure?

Well, I finally have some time for video gaming again. I'm looking to go back to the old standby of fantasy/adventure gaming as well. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I still don't want the amount of time involved to be similar to getting a PHD, but I would like to know what's out there for GBA/PS2 or a not bleeding-edge machine. Single player is probably best, too, since City of Heroes/Villains takes up my MMO time.

For PC I'd recommend The Witcher. Many PC gamers are saying its one of the best written RPGs since Planescape Torment. For the PS3 I would suggest Folklore, its a fantasy world with a good suspenseful drama.

Can't say for PS2 most of those games take a long time. GBA imo is dead.

For PS2 I'd say pick up Tomb Raider Anniversary. I don't know what else that's new-ish, maybe God of War 2 or Odin Sphere. What about some older games like Shadow of Colossus or Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams?

Definitely Folklore if you've got a PS3. That's what I'm currently playing and it's frickin' bad ass.
