I look forward to seeing this, its nice to see Robert E. Howards Puritan Crusader getting some limelight after being ignored for so very long. Dotn remember many of the stories about him my father read to me other than some crude details.

Yes it does look sort of Sephen Sommers 'Van helsing', but Kane is no way that lame. heres hoping.

Not sure how much luck you'll have as they dont really publish any of Howards material any more.

You'll have to look it up on Ebay or Amazon.com.

Unless it says 'written by Robert E.Howard', its not authentic. There have been I dont know how many dozens of Conan the Barbarian books written by others that dont Match Howards writing style or characters.

Kane is an interesting enough character is is his world as he fights monsters both man and inhuman. Howards monsters were all kind of simple but clever in their own ways. Nothing amazingly extravagent like Dragons with three heads that spew out fire, ice and thunder.

One of the few creatures Kane encounters that I recall were the 'winged demons', which were men with bat wings on their back who were the offspring of devils who mated with humans.

Like I said, nothing amazingly extravagnet, but simple monsters.

I hope they get this right, my fathers been wanting to see a Solomon kane film for a long time, being a big Robert E.Howard fan.

It says The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane is written by Howard. That came out on 04. Amazon still has some of his stuff.

the savage tales of Solomon Kane? I dont know..hmm, well if its a reprint you should be ok. If its just someone else trying to create more adventures for Kane be weary. Best luck on your quest.
