Was watching the Tennessee Kentucky game yesterday and I noticed something during overtime that I considered extremely unfair. Kentucky was going to try to kick a field goal and had they got it the game would have been over. But we (from tennessee) blocked it. Picked up the ball and started running. Well someone got a faceamask on our player so he wouldnt run all the way to the end zone. And it was one of those 15 yard types to, whiped his head around. Could have really hurt the kid. But they said by rule they couldnt do anything about it. So basically you get a free hit at that point to hit them wherever you want, however hard you wanto to him them.
Then later on in overtime during a 2 point conversion attempt Arian Foster gets knocked out of bounds and being a dummy throws the football, and then we get called for unsportmen like or something to that effect. And THAT penalty had penalty yards tacked on. Now how is it fair that you can hit a kid so hard you could possibly end his career an d no penalty is given because its the last play of the drive in overtime? Thats just flat out B.S. I hope I made sense in my ramblings.
