looks badass. Something very "clockwork orange" about that picture. And you just gotta love the socks.

Looks good.

I kinda wish they held back on releasing so much stuff about what he looks like, though. I honestly thought they'd work that marketing ploy a little bit more.

there is a website that had the picture underneath some cards and each day the cards would come off.

After I'm Not There and now this, I have much more respect for Heath Ledger.

You mean you didn't have any after A Knight's Tale? :dsp:

Very charming image, I look forward to seeing footage...which should be out in theatres in about 2 1/2 weeks as they said in December they would attatch the first 5 minutes of the film as a teaser.

Read that Two face's make up would require a lot of CGi, which is interesting as Christopher Nolan has been keeping everything sort of low key make up wise on all these characters.

Remember Halloween of 78, we still have a second villain created in this film who's make up has higher expectations than the Jokers ;)

BTW Jack Nicholson is probably gonna be really pissed off when he sees this. Poor Guy already stated howmad he is that hes not involced with the film and wanted to play the Joker more.

Nicholson barely had the figure to play Joker eighteen years ago. Last I saw, he would need to lose a whole lot of weight before trying again.

I loved Nicholson's Joker. This is not at all a matter of talent. He would have to work too hard to look good in the purple suit again.

On that note: this movie is wasting a perfectly good Joker with a completely asinine script. Let's try these comparisons.

A nine year old boy snuck out of his bunk to get a drink from the hose. It sprayed up his nose and knocked his head into a rock. He died of a head injury on the spot and was not discovered until the next morning. Twenty years later his angry spirit returned to haunt the place of his death: Camp Crystal Lake.
(Starring Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler)

Oh yeah. Let's go.

An exemplary shoolteacher lost his wife to the janitor during the faculty Christmas party. Distraught, he filled their shared home with gasoline, chained himself to the toilet, and lit the home on fire. Now he comes to get you in your dreams.
(Soundtrack by Blue October, Kings of Leon, and Weezer)

More!

A radioactive banana tree falls from outer space into Central Park. Will Smith's kid picks a few of the bananas and feeds them to a sock monkey, which grows to over forty feet tall. It kidnaps an overweight furry wishes to marry it. When their "basic civil rights" are denied, they paint a giant rainbow on top of the Empire State Building.

There's only so much tinkering that can be performed on a classic character.

Well three things:

One, your points make about a much sense as 'the chewbacca defense'

Two, you havent read the script, but being that I am aware you didnt like 'begins' you most likelly wont be up to see this flick.

And three(slightly unrelated), wasnt your biggest gripe that Batman didnt do enough detective work in this film?

I think he looks cool. More sadistic clown than cartoon character. Nicholson has big shoes to fill though.. not big clown shoes, I mean talent wise
