I've noticed that a lot of people on here are hardcore death metal fans. I thought I'd share some Japanese death metal bands that I listen to. I think many of you will like some, if not all, of them, provided nobody minds the language difference, even though most of them do sing in all English. Not all of them will exactly be death metal, but they will have the metal sound to them. I'll only post a picture and the band name, if you want more info on the band, you can look it up or ask me, and I'll tell you what I know about them. Check some of them out and tell me what you think:

No Butcher ABC?
What a disgrace.
Also a shame that there's no mention of Damage Digital and Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation(an all girl Grind band).

Haha, I do not doubt that for one second.
And yeah, sorry I don't have much. I've been looking for some more, but I haven't had too much luck except for the ones I have above. But, I'm, still trying hard to find some more.

Sigh is amazing, never really heard any of the others.
But really. Sigh kicks ass.
Chthonic is great, too. But like somebody already mentioned, they're from Taiwan.

If you want, here is a site that has a huge list of Japanese metal bands.

Although not a complete list, it has 753 bands listed that are either still going or defunct.

Yep, that's a great place to look up Japanese death metal bands. I've found so many awsome looking ones from there, but sadly, it's very hard finding their music.

Dani Filth is alright, nothing special. But, I'm still going to check out Chthonic sometime.
And yeah, I just found some stuff from Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation. They are awsome! Great grindcore band, especially for an all-female band!

Been listening to Sigh since the original release of Imaginary Sonicscape.
Sigh has already been mentioned before (no sense in repeating a band that's already been listed) plus they are one of those bands that qualify if you haven't heard of them before then you must have been living under a rock. :D

Yeah, Sigh's becoming pretty well known. At least in the metal community. I started listening to them with Imaginary Sonicscape, which is their best so far. Hangman's Hymn and Hail Horror Hail are also pretty good. Gallows Gallery and Scenario IV are good but not great.

The only other album I've really heard is Hail Horror Hail (I've heard various songs from their other stuff), which like you said is also pretty good. I'm not sure if Imaginary Sonicscape is my favorite because it is their best album or if its just because its the first album I heard from them.

Loudness is awesome. Takasaki is an excellent guitarist, but there's another guy out there, Shima Norifuma (I believe thats his name), who's also a solid shredder. He plays in a band called Concerto Moon, melodic power metal.

Yes, Concerto Moon is a great band. Great guitar parts. If you like them, also give Sex Machineguns a try. Despite the rip-off of their name, they are also a great power metal band.

Yesterday, I went deep searching to look for some more Asian death metal bands. I didn't get to read the huge list of Japanese death metal bands that I had, but I found some awsome Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese death metal bands. I think the best one I found yesterday was a Chinese death metal band called Frosty Eve. Their music is so awsome, and their singer is pretty awsome too. I can't stop listening to their song "Dying Dreamland." Check them out, they're really awsome:

Was watching the Death Note anime again recently and the songs they use for the second series Opening and Closing credits sound fuckin awesome, so I done some research, and found out the band is called Maximum the Hormone (from Japan) and damn they're good. Check out the full songs from the Death Note OP/ED credits: HERE (http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=7BOp9w_Y6pI)
I'm already downloading an album.

Where are you downloading all these albums from? Also, before I check out all of these, I'm not a fan of the grunty raspy vocals are there any bands you guys mentioned that aren't focused on those kind of vocals?

I just find a torrent for the albums to download.
