Ok so i got the 3 rings of death

My question is this, I signed up for the repair thing online tonite so the repair thing is on the way, if i try the super heat method will that affect them fixing my x-box?

Yeah that happened with me. I turned it off and then back on and everything was fine. Sadly in the end it just dies on ya.

If you get one now, they should be fine, generally it tends to be the older ones that fuck up on you.

Don't worry about it. All the bugs have pretty much been worked out of the ones on store shelves now.
