Just discovered this weird issue when I started playing earlier -- when I pop in a game I receive these thin static lines on the left and right sides of my plasma TV. Never had this problem before and I can't find any information on it anywhere. Its been a few days since I last played something on it, and the only thing different I did was download and install Twisted Metal 2 :ahheh:

I did a search and pretty much every site I came across said that it is either the component cables or the TV itself. They say its rarely the PS3. They suggest trying different cables, or reattaching you old one and maybe even switching to a different TV to see if its the problem.

I'll double check all the cables. Yeah, my friend and I used to play Twisted 2 after school every day for months when it came out. It was always hilarious knocking him off a building with a ricochet :mhehe:
I played Twisted 3, and it sucked, but 4 was okay. Was Black any good? I wouldn't mind seeing a PS3 version come out, would look pretty badass I'm sure.

Switched around some cables so I wouldn't be using my HDMI switcher anymore and I'd only be running straight through my audio receiver and I still get the same problem, so that rules out my HDMI switcher as the culprit. It can't be the cables since HDMI cables don't really make a difference, but I'll see if I can get dif. cables anyway. I'm thinking it may be my TV, but that'd be odd since it has worked perfect up until now

I played Black once and I didn't like it. But again I only played it once. Ofcoarse I played twisted metal 1 too. Definatly agree with Fright on part 3
