A CBS affiliate out of Sacramento, California caught up to director Deon Taylor who is now shooting Twisted Pictures' Chain Letter in the area.

Taylor comments on bringing Hollywood to the Sacremento area and says the killer in his film falls in line with the intellectual motivations of Jigsaw. He also adds the film will be arriving in theaters on Halloween 2008. This would put it up against Twisted Pictures other October offering: Saw V!

Haha, what I don't understand is that when she was on LOST, her accent was noticeable... but not overpowering. Yet in other vids I've seen of her, it's almost impenetrable. How does that happen?

Holloween '09 is long gone. Latest news, according to Dread Central, is that it's release is due for March of this year.

A bit skeptical about theatrical release; let's hope for the best.
