Steelers/Pats bottom line.

I think Pitt is gonna be the team to do it. The biggest overall weakness for the Pats right now is they dont have an answer for physical play. The previous week, the Eagles played a physical game. This week, the Ravens ran the ball all over them and say for the final few drives, they didnt come close to stopping it.

It was nice to see the Pats attempt to run the ball some more. Something they have to do. They just cant throw the ball 40 times a game. Especially in cold, windy conditions like last night.

While the Steelers havent been much of a powerhouse team as of late, losing to the Jets. Squeaking out a win against the Phins before beating the Bengals this week. They still play a physical brand of ball and im not so sure the Pats can win unless they find a way to start pouring the points on again.

There used to be a time when the Pats were better at low scoring games, out muscling the other team but I dont think this team, especially with that fine aged Defense can handle physical games week in, week out. Especially this time of year anymore.

Pitt wins IMO

Couple other games to quickly touch on.

Chargers/Titans is a biggy. San Diego is in the drivers seat in the West, but they still need to win. The Titans saved their season with their win against the Texans but they are still in the rear view mirrior and have to win and hope Cleveland falls down the stretch.

Browns/Jets is a big one for Cleveland. They choke badly in Arizona last week and fell one foot short of a TD to probably win the game. Nevertheless, they have to take care of business against a Jet team thats probably going to pack it in outside of the NE game in afew weeks.

Cowboys/Lions is interesting. Although IMO the Lions are a sinking ship that probably wont make the playoffs. Nevertheless, they'll still be fighting but they will be without Roy Williams the rest of the way and Dallas is still playing to lock up homefield.

Raiders/Packers. In the NFL, for the most part, no game is a gimme. Packers need to just take care business for a couple more weeks and they should lock up the 2nd seed.

Vikings/49ers is another biggy. With AD back for the Vikings, they may be a wildcard contender. That said, they have to take care of business against a weak 49er team.

I had more hopes for the 49ers this season. Last season they looked like they were doing great things for their team and started to look like they could actually matter in the west.

As Emmitt would say, Meyton Panning is a great QB and Sob Banders is one of the best safeties in the league.

steelba

He brutalizes all the lines he speaks, kinda feel bad for the stuttering Emmit. The mute button comes in handy when Smith starts tripping over his own words.

Take it easy on poor Emmitt. He doesn't have Daryl Johnson to help make himself look good anymore.

Gonna be a snoozer tonight.

Hopefully with Vick behind bars. The NFL gets it right and gets Atlanta out of primetime.

I think Tha Saints will steam roll Atlanta tonight so that'll be cool. Can't imagine the shitty falcons winning. But heh maybe :ahheh:

ReD

Seattle, Green Bay and Dallas have clinched in the NFC.

AFC the Pats have clinched the East while the Colts have clinched just a spot.

Surprising more spots havent fallen yet but by the end of next week, most of the picture should be clear outside of the wildcards.
