reason for the teaser poster is mainly because a good chunk of the country isnt online and still hits the theatres and they dont know what the joker looks like. so its a good bit of publicity.

that whole monologue explains why Bat's suit is upgraded.

Oh I agree with you, and thats why im not overly pissed about it. I understand there going for realism and thats why he looks the way he does. I just dont like the fact you can barely see the bat symbol. If their not careful he's gonna end up lookin like Robocop with bat ears by the time part 3 comes along. I'm glad their throwing in all his gadgets and figuring out a way for it to make sense. I guess I'm just really used to comic book batman. I did really like what they did with his cape.

I doubt we'll see the symbol anyway. this is a purely night time character.
