I'm not impressed with the graphics. But then again, thats not what the GTA games are about.

The graphics have improved considerably but they're certainly not 'next-gen'. Honestly I don't mind too much as long as they fix those terrible frame rates.

I certainly hope a good portion the remaining development time is focused on optimization.

I think the grahics look great for a GTA game, definatley a huge improvment over last-gen. Last gens GTA games had graphics that were a little worse then what other games in that gen had so it's really no suprise that it's the same thing with this gen. But what GTA games lack in graphics they make up for in content.

yea! For a GTA game, the graphics look wonderful compaired to the other crap they had before.
It looks like fun. If only it would come out for christmas.. I'd finally know what to get my boyfriend. :D

graphics look good, but like Knight said they dont look Next-Gen. Doesnt really matter though. As long as the game plays great I'll be all over this one.

Can't imagine the gameplay being all that different from the past 3.

San Andreas is one of the best games ever. You should hop on that one day.

Can't imagine the game play being all that different from the past 3.

No they've given the whole game play style a complete overhaul. Just a few notable changes....

*The battle system is totally different, the aiming is over the shoulder like RE 4 or Gears of War. Plus there's a cover-pop-shoot cover system just like the one in Gears of War.

*Jacking cars will no longer be as simple as stealing one sitting on the street, or ganking someone out and driving off. If the car is parked, it will be locked, and you will have to take the time to break into it and hot wire it. Also, if you pull someone out, they will fight back and the encounter could be fatal for you.

*Buying guns will no longer be as easy and going to the nearest Amunation...you will in fact have to make contacts and talk to shady characters in dark allies to get the fire power you want. Also, no more weapons just floating around in random location.

*No more floating hearts to heal yourself. Everything will be done via a hospital or grabbing a quick bite to eat.

*This will have nothing to do with the previous entires. Absolutely no characters or story lines will be returning from the other GTA games.

*Completing goals will have to be done in a much more realistic and interactive way. For instance, the first mission is that you have to assassinate a lawyer. In order to accomplish this task, you have to find a cafe' that supports wifi internet. Get online and load up a resume to the lawyers office. Go out and get a nice suit to wear to the interview. Answer the phone when his secretary calls you back to set up an interview, and successfully make it to the interview on time.

*Evading the cops will no longer be as simple as going through a pay & spray. You will have to change cars, and get out of the search radius. You will also have to stay out of the search radius until they stop looking. No more floating badges to decrease your wanted level. Also, committing crimes in public will not only draw attention from nearby officers, but bystanders who see you doing it (such as breaking into a car) can also call the cops on you.

Thats just a small portion of the differences.

Sounds good, but you're still doing all the stuff you did in the first 3 games.

It's a winning formula so you don't change it; just make it better.

Yeah, it's good they made everything a little more realistic. I'm very thankful for the improved combat method.

Yeah, beating up/shooting random people on the street was a bit stiff in the first three games because of the lame ass graphics and animations. Despite what some say, graphics matter and DO add to the overall enjoyment of the game.

I'm also wanting to see more destructible cars and some actual physics this time around.

Prototype's gonna be a badass game or at least it looks it lets hope the gameplay is close enough to the trailer.

Prototype looks cool, and they're setting some lofty goals for that game, hopefully they come through.

Now GTA IV does have me excited, mainly because it seems to have improved on many of the things I was never exactly big on in the the older GTA games.
