The only reason I know the band's name is from a long time ago, I was at a music store with a buddy of mine, I was browsing cd's and I saw the CD, and I asked him, "What the hell kind of name is this?" to which my friend replied, "Isn't it obvious? Butthole Surfers was already taken!"

The name has stuck in my memory ever since... never listened to a single song by them though.
