whats this about again? I think he's been in a slump lately but I'll check this out if it looks good. I think the name is dumb too. The Happening? Its just random. I'm gonna entitle my movie "hey look I'm sitting down"

It's supposedly about the world getting revenge on us via plants spores that make us commit suicide. Considering I can't think of another of title that would fit this besides "The Vengance" (ooh) , I like it.

His movies just keep getting worse and worse...This one might actually be alright but I'm not counting on it.

I personally thought they were getting better. I loved Signs and The Village, but I was let down with Lady In The Water. So far its his only film I haven't liked.

The flicks got worse for me: liked sense, signs, hated how the village turned out and lady in the water sucked. This sounds okay.

Interesting premise but Night's films are very hit or miss.

M. Night's movies have always been terrible (good ideas, shit execution), other than Unbreakable I can think of another movie with similar themes that are much better than his flicks.

Besides at the end of the day he only makes movies so he can star in them.

Don't get prancy with me.

With each movie he is asserting himself more and more, and is not just some background character so as far as I'm concerned it's movies.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot he did cameos in his other films. But then again, lots of people do that (Stephen King, Wes Craven, Zack Snyder). But I do agree about full on character roles. His part as a supporting actor in Lady was just nonsense.

Hitchcock also had cameos in some of his movies.

Big difference between having a cameo as a background character, and being a character that directly affects the storyline.

I didn't say there was a difference, I was just stating a fact :D
