This is one of those films that was really popular when it was released and it seemed like everyone I knew saw it, but I wasn't interested since I wasn't into sports. Well, I caught the flick earlier on TV and I have to say, it wasn't that bad, even for a person who doesn't follow football. It was also interesting seeing all the young leads that have now gone on to do bigger projects (except for Van Der Beek). Not a bad drama.

Movie is pretty solid. I remember back in 99 when I was in Middle School. This along with afew other assorted pop references were the shit. Probably Van Der Beek's best role outside of Dawson Leery and probably his only other noteworthy career highlight.

Unless of course you throw in Angus, but that was nothing to write home about.

Good movie..I was actually quite surprised that it turned to be that good. It was supposed to be a teen flick but I thought it was a bit deeper than that. Good flick.
