Even though it looks like a typical Sci-Fi channel flick, I'm actually somewhat excited for it as it looks better than expected and has the lovely Erica Leerhsen [Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wrong Turn 2] in it, so I'm definitely checking it out sometime.

Nope, it's not the same. It's quite longer with extra scenes, and much better than the mediocre first one.
