Stabbing Westward

Just heard a song on the radio by these guys, who used to be one of my favorite bands. It got me thinking, what ever happened to'em?

As far as I remember, they released an album that didn't do well and then just slowly faded away and disbanded.

Their self-titled album in '01? I thought it wasn't that bad, but I guess it's better to end where the music is still pretty good, as opposed to when it's just plain horrible, like some old bands now-a-days.

I thought the album sold decent. I know Stabbing Westward signed with a new record label. I know they had producer issues and then out of nowhere just disbanded. The guitarist left after the album came out for another band Violent New Breed. The drummer did other things and left. the singer started a new band The Dreaming. The keyboarder is working with The Clay People.
