I was hoping it was an amusement park overrun by zombies. That would be kinda cool. But an funeral home turned into a place called zombieland may end up being something similar.

Awesome film, it was a damn fun zombie film and also quite funny too!. It has one of the best opening's i've seen for quite some time love the use of slow motion along with playing Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls really solid choice to open the film up with. I'll be seeing it again tomorrow and i can't wait to get this on Blu-ray whenever it's out 9/10.

Sounds like it's pretty bad...are the laughs actually laughable? Or is it vastly too sophiscated to ever consider a "heh" like The Hangover.

In fairness I saw it a couple months ago as part of a focus group. But knowing what I know of the production and how little footage there was available, I doubt the movie has changed much since then. It started off pretty solid. Gory, funny, and slick. After about 20 minutes, it turns into a bad road movie, and the nifty bits of gore disappear for the duration of the film. There is a surprise (which I won't mention here) that I found to be a complete waste of time. Slows the movie down, isn't funny, and serves no purpose whatsoever. And perhaps worst of all, the climax is extremely anticlimactic.

Sophisticated? Definitely not. With a tag like "nut up or shut up" it couldn't possibly be anything other than lowest common denominator. It's a renter.

OMG! I loved it. I thought it was cool that part of it was filmed near where we live and that I have sat in the exact spot where Wichita and and Little Rock sat on Pharaoh's Fury (the real name of that ride).

I FUCKING LOVE Bill Murray, and it was so awesome that he did a cameo! My favorite part was where they were playing Ghostbusters.

I really liked that the movie was funny, but not at an outrageous level. It was very entertaining. I can't wait for it on DVD!

8.5/10, I made a list of the top 5 Horror Comedies for BthroughZ a month ago, and after seeing this, I'd say both it and Shaun of the Dead are at a tie for #2. My cousin and I where just laughing bit after bit during this film. Bill Murray was easily the best part, and my favorite cameo since Neil Patrick Harris in Harold and Kumar.
