Got this in my e-mail today. Not big, big news but I needed something to make me feel good this week and this is the closest I've been to it. Here's hoping I make the Top 20 announcement.

Thank you for submitting to the 2007 Slamdance Horror Screenplay
Competition. If you have received this e-mail that means that we have
received your screenplay and that it has been properly considered for
this year's competition.
All three parties involved (Slamdance, Maverick Red and Angel Baby
Entertainment) have been reviewing your material in our search for this
best material. Many have been considered, and are continuing to be
considered for the top twenty. However, at this time, we are only ready to
announce the 100 quarterfinalists.
We apologize for this inconvenience, and we still intend to name our
top twenty screenplays by January 4, 2007 followed by the Grand Prize
Announcement at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival on January 25, 2007.
Below is a list of the top 100 screenplays out of almost 600 that were
submitted. Because there are multiple screenplays with identical
titles, if you see your title, but it does not match your ID number, it may be
someone else's teleplay.
If you have any trouble accessing your account, please visit
