It doesn't show much,but fuck it's proof the game is still alive.Duke has always been one of my favorite characters,and i can't fucking wait for this game.I think they're pretty close to being done,so 2008 doesn't sound like a bad guess for a release date.

No, you cannot pre-order the game. If you see some online store saying "We are taking pre-orders", they're just trying to get your money (they usually also make up their own supposed "insider release date info", too). There is no release date set, we are not taking pre-orders for the game. End of story.

The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.

And yes, we know the game has taken a long time. There's no possible joke you could make about the game's development time that we haven't already heard. :)

Haha...I'll believe it when I see it. I remember when they first starting working on this game they were using the new and amazing QUAKE II engine...LOL. But I'd definitely get it if it ever came out.

As for the teaser, some graphical polish aside, and the fact that the internet died for a few hours, it got me hyped back up and there was next to no gameplay footage.
They really pushed the Unreal2.0 engine to the limits (and beyond it turns out).

I just remember those biped tiger-like aliens that were like the soldiers, the ones you most frequently ran into in the beginning of the game. And the eggs, and the chain gun w/ three barrells.
This game certainly was the Shit.
