Anyone who knows anythign about psychology as well as history knows what Will smith says here does have a lot of truth behind it.
But as I said, when a slow news day occurs, time to take something that ignorant people cand flip out over and make it a headline.
doesnt matetr what country, the media truly is disgusting.

totally taking what he said out of context.
He says, "Even Hitler didn't wake up going, 'Let me do the most evil thing I can do today'.
"I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was 'good'. Stuff like that just needs reprogramming."
The way I read this, it's simply implies Hitler didn't see himself as the villain. Simple enough.

Hitler was a sociopath. Sociopaths, in general, have no conscience nor any sort of feelings of empathy and remorse. They know the difference between 'good' and 'evil', but generally don't care. In their view, the world and everyone in it is beneath them.
So no, Hitler was not a 'good' person. He was an empty shell of a human being devoid of emotion.
Sociopaths cannot be 'reprogrammed'.
Smith is talking out of his ass on this one.

unfortunately while sociapaths cant be reprogrammed, they can be made trhough years of abuse both pyschological and physical. I'm uncertain as to what Hitler was exactly, he had a god complex, he was also a bed wetter, a mama's boy, and suffered from Syphilis, and had like only 4 teeth remaining and had incredibly painful false teeth implimented in his mouth.
Just catagorizing him as a sociopath doesnt seem like enough, I think there is a more specific term for this type of a monster.
I think Smith fails to see the difference betweem man and monster in his POV, but either way I think he's been visiting the scientology places too.
