Best Horror Film Endings

What are your favourites? *SPOILERS*

Mine would have to be:

Halloween, remake (I found the ending to be sad for some reason, especially whenever they showed them as kids).

P2 (I thought it was a beautiful ending, scenery wise).

30 Days Of Night (see P2).

The Hitcher, remake (seeing Sophia Bush blow John Ryder's head off with a shotgun and a song by Gomez to end it, what a kick ass ending).

Saw (I was SHOCKED).

1408 (As much as I disliked the film, the ending was sweet and had me going WTF? was it real or not?).

The Reaping (OMGZ, she's pregnant with an evil child!).

Final Destination 2 (Pretty sweet ending).

I'm sure there's TONS more, esp. older films, but I can't think at the moment. But most of the endings to the horror films in 2007 were satisfying for me.

Wasn't shocking or amazing but I've always loved how Scream ended with Courtney Cox ready to do a broadcast with a busted up face. It was a nicely wrapped up ending.

Saw was pretty good too. And 28 Weeks Later (SPOILER) with the Eiffel Tower shot.

Whenever this question comes up the movies that come to mind first for me are Sleepaway Camp,The Wicker Man and The Devels Rejects.

I always liked the ending to Dawn of the Dead Remake.

The original TCM where Leatherface does his dance and the film ends so abruptly. Perfect ending. AND I know most of you hate the Blair Witch Project...I loved the ending to that.

Also, I'm probably the only one, but I LOVED the "Vacancy" ending. I love how it abruptly ended with some kick ass music.

And Friday the 13th Part 9 where freddy's hand comes out of the ground and takes Jason's mask, that's mad.

Funny Games had a crazy ending. I knew not to expect what you'd normally see in horror films but I was still like "Whoa..."

Also pretty much any movie where everyone dies in the end (or it is assumed that way when the screen fades out).

The ending to the mist was rather refreshing. Got tired happy endings and xxxtreme gore lately, good to see a 'how the hell could they script that' ending again.
