Child's Play + The Other Two

I've recently watch child's play 2 & 3 again for the first time in years and I do enjoy them but it got me thinking... why isn't there any mention on Andy in Bride and Seed. Different directors and different paths for the films but don't you think Andy should have been at least mentioned. I've love to see Andy present day and another Andy/Chucky encounter but it'd need to be more along the lines of horror then comedy.

The three first are really great and fun horrormovies. Wish the other 2 were like them. If they make more Chuckys, they should bring back the horror, BUT people nowadays won't like them cause they think Chucky is that much comedy.

I'm not sure, I know the idea has been bounced around countless times on this board but that's not really what this thread is about. (I don't think a remake is needed) I know with Bride and Seed they wanted a different direction for the films but it angers me that there was no mention of Andy. He and Chucky were the focus of the first three films and then nothing.

I liked them all but seed is probably the least of my favorites.

I guess the whole horror comedy direction Seed and Bride took never bothered my because I never found the other Child Play movies scary.

I agree with Metapher. Bring the horror back to Chucky. Wise cracking horror comedy is all well and good but look back at the original movies where Chucky was presented as something to be feared as opposed to comic relief. Bringing Andy back into the fray would help. Have Chucky go back to his roots and see what scars he's left Andy with. I'm sure Tiffany and Glen would be pissed having Chucky break ranks and the hunt with definantly be on. Andy's family Vs Chucky's Family. Holiday fun!!!

i could never take the child play series serious..as i kid i just lauhged whena little doll killed people...the voodoo scene int he 1st one gets me everytime..something about bones bending ways they shouldnt lol
