Anybody familiar with digital camcorders?

I got one for Xmas. An Aiptek Icam and I wanted to upload some videos for youtube, but when I use the software to film onto my PC it will film the video with no sound. I dunno why. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is the 'software' an editing program or something? Whenever I capture clips to a computer the program will have advanced options where you can choose to capture sound only or video only or both etc.

And what program are you using by the way?

it's called DV TS. I am very new at this so forgive me if I say anything idiotic. It's my cmcorder driver. It pops up a screen and it says PC Camera. There are a few options but no sound options on it. The software actually came with my camera. It was a multi disk with editing software and stuff too.
