I hate the kid died. But from what I've been hearing they were taunting the damn thing. Morons. Hate it for the tiger too to be honest. Had to shoot it of course.

The response you always get when you side with the animal is the animal isnt a human and a human life should be more valued. However the difference between a human and an animal is very simple.
Animals dont...
Try to kill you unless their being protective. They dont talk shit because they cant talk and they dont harass other humans unless provoked usually. Animals are often valued because of these reasons and others. Nevertheless, this sounds like a disaster all around.
These types of animals can be raised to be friendly towards humans but only at a very early age. If not, then sometimes stuff like this happens.
Unfortunate for all parties involved IMO.

Relatively small cat at 350 lbs. Still, a killing machine and the whole thing is tragic.

I love Tigers, they're gorgeous creatures, but people seem to forget, taunt something like that, it's going to go fucking mental.

zoo's are a neccessary thing now though. Kinda like when we screw something up and have to do something about it. That "something" becomes necessary.

I'm generally a person who believes that human life is sacred and should have been protected.
I also believe in cause and effect. No pity for the dead kid.
Unfortunately there were other people at that zoo, and they did need to be protected. The other two kids involved should have their future wages garnished until they have repaid the zoo for its now deceased tiger.
