View Full Version : Personal Milestones?
Got any that your proud of or feel good about? Since about May of 07' till now, I've lost a little over 50 pounds. When I stopped boxing, I didnt work out or diet. I just ate and ate and got to an unhealthy 195 pounds and being my size that ain't good at all. I started working out again and cut out a lot of foods and stopped drinking cokes and stuff like that, I stuck to water and sometimes tea. Now I'm 145 pounds and one thing is for sure, I don't look fat. No more man tits. I got some pictures of then and now I'll post later

I lost the 10 lbs I needed to lose. Now back to my optimal weight at around 190. Have a lot more energy now too since I upped my cardio workouts.

Down to the final class in college, after being in educational limbo for so long due to my learning dissability I"m at the end finally.
Now if I could lose the needed 15 LBs I dont need, that'd be just fine.
Weighed 242 pounds in April of 2004. Weigh 182 pounds today and can bench double what I could bench then and can now run 5 miles in under 40 minutes. That's probably the thing I'm most proud of ever doing.
I am also kinda proud that I'm the first in my family to ever go to and complete college at a four-year institution.
I also learned to play more than half the DMB catalog on guitar. Dave songs can be pretty hard, but I've nailed a lot of em down (my favorites to play are "The Last Stop", "Rapunzel", and "Lie in Our Graves").
Those are the things I feel best about...but there is so much more I need to work on (debt, for example).

College Grad.
Have a great gf, we get along great.
I'm in good health.
I'm looking for a job now because I just finished College. Once I find that right job, I'll pretty much have it all.
For those under 22 who say they're college grads -
Do you have an Associates Degree? I'm actually curious because I was talking to a coworker the other day about how many business-related jobs are taking people with two year degrees. I believe that I could have saved myself about 50K and two years of school and still had the job I have now.
Where do you two-year degree holders work?

I guess you can call it Associate. Things are kinda different here in Canada, especially in Newfoundland. But yeah...you can call it Associate I guess.

I got an Associates from a community college then used those credits to transfer to a University where I got my Bachelor's. Saved an assload of money that way.
But no, I personally couldn't have gotten my job with just an Associates.

And now, for what Hof78 should have done, read above.
