That would be awful, I really look forward to the oscars every year.

Good, now we won't have to see a bunch of modern-day fluff get awarded for being top-shelf fluff.

I think the world will survive, and celebs wont have to spend money on ridiculous outfits they can never wear again. Everyone's a winner.

Well after Ellen Degeneres Fucking rank performance as host last year, big surprise.
Only thing close to life they had was when Jon Stewart hosted them in...what 2005? I would have liked to see him in action again this year, but its not like there were any films that stood out to me this year anyways.
As spiffy as '300' was, its not oscar material anyways.

Oscars mean squat to me, just Hollywood congratulating itself.
Oh and are they serious??
Can you imagine a year without Oscar? It is depressing enough with the international situation being what it is - assassination, war, troubled economies, plagues and the rest of the sorry list.
The world's a horrid place, but if George Clooney gets a little golden nudist, it's a better place. At least just for one night. :die:

I haven't watched the Oscars since I was maybe seven years old. Nothing but a purveyor of which skanky female celebrities have been barfing up their lunch and which presumptuous, non-funny, pretty-boy male celebrities don't deserve any recognition.

Oh my fricken God. I'm not surprised anyone would say this.
