The Wire Final Season

Just a reminder that the final season of The Wire premieres tonight on HBO. Hopefully it's a good one :D

I regret not having gotten into this. I didn't get into The Sopranos until the month after the series finally. I'm almost finished with the sixth season, I'll either start with Deadwood or The Wire when I finish. HBO is the Zeus of television.

I'd say to get into The Wire now while the final season still airs, but by the time you catch up with the four seasons this final season will likely be over anyway. Deadwood is another good series, but The Wire is better, in my opinion.

Sadly i no longer am getting HBO anymore so i'm gonna have to wait awhile before i catch it. I'm definately looking forward to it though since how much i did enjoy the last season.

I wanna finish Sopranos before i get into anything else though, it's kind of consuming my Netflix queue, and has been since July. But as of now, HBO has given me Flight of the Conchords, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Sopranos, and I'll love it indefinitely.

I'm excited for the season. It's a good series and I hope this season is one of the best.

Wasn't into the premiere episode much, but this second ep is starting to pick up. It looks like some interesting fates will befall some of our leads in this final season. I can see Marlow getting killed before the season ends; hopefully by Omar. Next episode looks better.

Caught the third episode earlier -- definitely picks up action-wise. Like I said, gets better each ep.
