This was his first and only MMA fight. And at an upcoming UFC Pay Pew View he's going to be in the main event fighting Frank Mir. Think he can do it? I personally have my doubts. Thoughts anyone?

Lesnar is very strong and he's a wrestler, so he has a slight chance. I don't see him beating someone like Frank Mir, even if Mir is slightly washed up.

Next month, former WWE champion Brock Lesnar will make his UFC debut in Las Vegas at UFC 81: Breaking Point against Frank Mir. The trailer being used to promote the show features a lot of WWE shots of Lesnar, with WWE probably getting money from UFC to use the footage. "What if one of the world's greatest wrestlers stepped out of the ring and into the octagon?", the commercial says. Lesnar is billed as 'wrestling superstar' and in the commercial Dana White says that if Lesnar can back up all that he's saying he might become the biggest star in MMA.

Hmmmmmmmm he may be the biggest in size....but not the baddest. We'll see what he's made of at UFC 81.

I have my doubts, but to say Lesnar is talented as far as fighting goes. he ragdolled tim sylvia around in their training. He is a multi-time wrestling champion, big ten x2 and ncaa champion. he is flat out stronger than anyone in the ufc period. Jerry lynn (the guy who trained him the wwe) is a close friend of mine and I worked out with Brock, he is a f*ckin freak. Now Mir is an excellent fighter aswell and I dont want to say Brock would steam roll him wrong. But i think that it will be closer than everyone says.

lastly min soo kim who he fought is a world class taekwon do fighter and got schooled, so i dont think brock is terrible. Just a little to hyped at the moment

should be a good ppv no matter what.

I saw that joke of a fight. Brock got on top of him taped the dude on the side of the head a few times with his fist and he taped out. Total worked fight. Mir will tap him in the first round.

Of course, they do this with all hyped up new fighters. Remember Ken Shamrock with Rich Franklin? After a few fights (and skills improve) they finally get tested with better opponents. These fights are warm up fights. It's just part of the game. Pride was one of the only orgs that if you were new they would throw you to the big boys and if you win or were exciting losing then you get recognized.

True funny story:

A friend of mine and his roomate showed this to me. The roomates girlfriend was a model and hired to go to Cannes and stand out front of one of the theatres. Anyway she was at a club that night and Van Damme was hitting on her, and ended up handing her his number and to call him when she came to the states. He has no stamina, no real skill, hes a street fighter with a crazy strong punch and some minor talent in the octagon.
